Embodied rest is the foundation from which we (black women) can make meaningful changes in our lives, not from a place of depletion but from a wellspring of renewed energy and clarity. In this way, embodied rest isn't just a pause from life—it's an essential part of living it fully.

My personal embodied rest practice helps me to maintain my personal power. It supports me in this sense of self and I like to call this practice both spiritual + community care. It has also supported me in how I hold space for myself and others.
Moving from a place of rest, has also opened up the ability to be present with all that emerges and continues to rise, allowing for more choice and flow within my life and system.
I am a creative, mother, trauma-informed, certified somatic practioner guiding those to their inner wisdom/healer within themselves. I’m certified in a modality called Focalizing which is a gentle approach to body based work (Somatic) when working to metabolize past trauma.
I look forward to holding space for you, if you have been looking for something safe and nourishing, connecting body mind and soul, reach out to learn more.
